From 7dd97850583118eb4ed1d1261a7cc41a43e884d5 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jorijn van der Graaf Date: Sat, 31 Oct 2026 17:27:31 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] docs(packaging): add the 4.0.0 release entry AGENTS.md written from a tracked AGENTS.template.md, so the dependency notes no longer change a file the project commits. A major, because a project that kept 3.0.0's notes section in its committed AGENTS.md stops getting it updated until it moves to the template: the rule is a major whenever the notes have a Breaking section, even one that no build fails over. AGENTS.md is build output, so it goes into .gitignore, and a fresh clone has none until its first build.
